Pop Up HAPPY Card

This card was one that we did in one of my online classes that was very popular. It's not too difficult but it looks really effective and can be altered for different themes.

This is the card I am sharing the instructions for.....

Instructions:

Supplies  Needed

Card base 10.5 x 29.8cm
Card Insert 10 x 29.2cm
Card front DSP 10 x 14.4cm
Rainbow Glimmer Paper 10.5 x 2.5cm
Playful Alphabet Dies from Stampin' Up!
Circle 2"
Scrap of Soft Seafoam for greeting
Ribbon - 18cm

1. Score card insert on long side at 12.5cm

2. Score card insert on long side from other end at 10cm and 12cm.

3. Line up the top of the letters with the 12cm score line, as shown below.

4. Run through your cutting machine, but make sure the ends of the die are positioned to fit through the machine so that you don't bend the end of  your die ( as I did :( ).

5. Cut the word BIRTHDAY from the Rainbow Glimmer Paper.

6. Glue the letters to the space below HAPPY. This word only just fits, I suggest adhering the B and the Y then spreading the other letters in between.

7. Fold the insert forward below the BIRTHDAY.

8. Fold the insert backwards along to top of the HAPPY.

9. Fold the insert forward along the last score line.
10. Adhere the end of the card insert to the card base.

11. Open the card flat and attach the last section of the insert to the top of the card.

12. Close your card.

13. Attach the DSP and the greeting to the front of the card.

Here's a similar card I made for my Dad for Father's Day.

All of the supplies I used for this project are listed below.
Thank you for visiting my blog, I hope you enjoyed my project. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.

Happy stamping,
Rachel
