Colour Creations Blog Hop - Week 27 Merry Merlot

Welcome to week 27 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop. The Art With Heart Team are making their way through the Stampin' Colour range, featuring a different colour every week. This week we are featuring Merry Merlot which is in our Neutrals colour family.
You may be joining this blog hop from the very talented Theresa Gerrard or you may be starting here, either way the link to the next blog is at the end of this post.

This week I have used the Angels of Peace stamp set to make my card.

I first stamped the large angel in Versamark on Shimmery White card stock and embossed with Gold Emboss Powder.

I coloured the image with Merry Merlot, Balmy Blue, So Saffron and Blushing Bride ink and Water Painters. I used my trusty Paper Snips to fussy cut this image.

The stars were stamp in Versamark on Basic White card stock and embossed in White Embossing Powder. I coloured the background with Balmy Blue and Night of Navy ink and the Blending Brushes.

The greeting was stamped in Merry Merlot and cut using the Elegant Tag Punch. The tiny bow is from the Shimmery Gold Ribbon.
The next stop on the blog hop is the amazing blog belonging to the lovely Catherine Proctor.

Catherine is also the coordinator of our blog hops and she has a complete list of tonight's participants if you encounter a problem.

Thanks for visiting,
Rachel

  1. I think watercolouring was a great choice for this colour, Rach. Your angel has an ethereal look about her. Lovely ink blending for the background, and nicely done with the fussy-cutting of the angel. :)
