Last Heart of Christmas Blog Hop for 2024!
I had already made a set of cards for this week before I received my pre order of new products from the Jan to April Mini Catalogue.
One of the sets I ordered was the Darling Dino Bundle. These dinosaurs are so cute. They are wonderful to colour and I have been exploring lots of different possibilities.
This little fellow is one of those possibilities.
I coloured the party hat with a Real Red Blends Marker and added the fluffy boarder with a Black Marker.
The patterned paper used is the Take a Bow DSP. This set will be available to customers in Jan 2025.
Back to the cards I had initially prepared. I stamped the Surfing Santa in Versamark on both Real Red and Shaded Spruce card stock. These were then heat embossed in white.
The background DSP for all these cards is from the Full of Life DSP Pack.. I know they are a little non traditional for Christmas cards but I think they are really fun.
This is my favourite one, I think the background looks a bit like rays of sun light.
Now it's time to see what my wonderful stamping friend Cathy Proctor has to delight us with.
If you encounter any issues with the links in our hop please head to the blog belonging to Sharon Davern as she has been the amazing host of our Christmas Blog Hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.
Happy stamping,
Rachel
Rachel, I love all of your non-traditional Christmas cards! They are fabulous but the dinosaur one is especially cute and so creative. You are a very naughty enabler - I was umming and ahhing about this new dinosaur bundle but I might have to order it now!
ReplyDeleteVery cute dinosaur card, Rachel. I thought you might share something made with your new goodies, and you didn't disappoint! Your set of cards is fantastic, and very fitting for the informal summer Christmas in Australia. I love the simplicity of the white heat-embossed focal image. My favourite is the same as yours - and for the same reason. :)
