Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase week 49 - Soft Sea Foam

This week is week 49 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase and we are featuring Soft Sea Foam. Soft Sea Foam is a very pale, subtle green colour that is one of our Subtle colours. Only one more colour next week and then we are going to finish up with the new 2021-2023 In Colours.

I keep forgetting that the Jan to June Mini Catalogue is still current and that all the products in this catalogue are still available until the 30th of June. So I thought I would feature the Ice Cream Corner DSP one last time.

The card base is Soft Sea Foam as is the Scalloped rectangle behind the ice cream.

I used the Ice Cream Corner DSP for the background and to punch the ice cream cone and the scoops of ice cream from with the Ice Cream Punch.

The beautiful, scripty Happy Birthday is from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set and has been stamped in Blackberry Bliss on Basic White card stock.
The Sweet Ice Cream stamp set and the Ice Cream Punch are available in the 2021-2022 Catalogue but the Ice Cream Corner DSP is not, so if this is on your wish list make sure you order it by the 30th of June. All of the products used in this projects are listed below.

Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase week 20 - Gray Granite

Hello on this lovely Wednesday evening in Melbourne. I'm back again with the Art With Heart Team and their Colour Creations Showcase. This week the team are featuring Gray Granite, from our Neutrals colour family.

I have two very different cards to show you tonight featuring this colour.

The first card features a new stamp bundle called Quite Curvy Bundle that is only available to demonstrators until the preorder starting the 1st of November. This set will then be available in the upcoming Jan to June Mini Catalogue.
I have paired this bundle with the Peony Garden DSP.

I have stamped the birds and the leaves in Gray Granite ink and coloured them with Blends Markers in Gray Granite, Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam.

I needed to use one and a bit more of the leaf stamps to reach the full width of the card. I placed a small piece of the leaf stamp on the inside of the card with another of the birds.

The greeting, also from the Quite Curvy Bundle, was stamped in White Emboss Powder, on the front of the card. The last addition was a few of the Pearl Jewels on the front of the card.

For the second card I used a different colour scheme.

I used a stamp set I bought recently during our stamp sale called Moving Along. Again I stamped the image outlines in Gray Granite.

The engine and carriages were coloured with the solid stamps and the ink pads. I then fussy them with paper snips.

The smoke from the engine was stamped and embossed with White Emboss Powder. The greetings were stamped in Bashful Blue. The Happy Birthday is from the Itty Bitty Birthday set. The white section in the middle of the card was dry embossed with the Tasteful Textures Embossing Folder.

The background papers are from the In Good Taste DSP.

Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase week 19 - Granny Apple Green

It's Wednesday and I'm back with the Art With Heart Team for another week of our Colour Creation Showcase.
This week we are sharing projects that feature Granny Apple Green. Granny Apple Green is in our Brights Collection and it is a lovely clear green colour.

For this card I used a newly purchased stamp set called From All Of Us.

I first stamped the large image in Memento Ink. I stamped this image again on some Sticky Notes and then cut out the image to make a mask. I was a bit fiddly to cut out, but now I have the mask I will be able to reuse it numerous times.

With the mask in place I stamped the tree images in the background.

Once the stamping was done I coloured the image with Blends Markers. The colours I used are listed below.

The greetings are stamped on Whisper White and the large one is cut with a circle from the Stitched Shape Dies. The final step was to wind a piece of Linen Thread around the bottom of the card. This piece was mounted on a Granny Apple Green card base.

Happy stamping,
