Colour Creations Blog Hop week 13 - Boho Blue

Hello stamping friends, it's Wednesday and time for the Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. Every week we have been featuring one of the fabulous Stampin' Up! colours in alphabetical order. This week we are featuring Boho Blue, a lovely soft, gray blue that is one of the 2023-2025 In Colours.
This week I have used the From Our Home stamp set.

I stamped the single house image on Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper in Stazon Ink. The image was coloured with Water Painter and ink colours Boho Blue, Early Espresso, Old Olive, Crumb Cake.

I cut out the image with a Stylish Shapes Circle Die.
The back ground patterned paper is Countryside Inn, mat is Misty Moonlight and the card base is Boho Blue.

The greeting is from the Loveliest Tree stamp set and is white embossed on Boho Blue card stock.

It's time to hop over to the next stop on our blog hop which belongs to my talented stamping friend and the host of our blog hops, Cathy Proctor.

If you encounter any issues with the links in our hop please head to Cathy's blog as she has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Pop back next week when we will be featuring Bubble Bath.

Colour Creations Blog Hop week 12 - Blueberry Bushel Tools

Hello stamping friends, it's time for week 12 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop. This week we are featuring Blueberry Bushel, a wonderfully deep, rich blue.

For this week's card I had a lovely time water colouring some tools. I used the Trusty Toolbox stamp set to randomly stamp hammers, tape measures and paint brushes on a piece of Fluid 100 Water Color Paper.

The colours I used were Blueberry Bushel, Smoky Slate, Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie.

I got the large Water Painter very wet with a Blueberry Bushel mix and tapped it over the water colour paper to create the splatters.

Happy Father's Day is stamped in Blueberry Bushel and DAD is heat embossed in white embossing powder.

Next person in our blog hop is my fabulous stamping friend Andrea Sargent.

If you encounter any issues with the links in our hop please head to Cathy's blog, as she is the amazing host of our Colour Creations Blog Hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Please return next week when we will be featuring Boho Blue.

Starry Sky - Elephant Parade and Paradise Palms

I'm back today with two extra cards that I made to feature Starry Sky that were excess to what I needed for yesterday's post.

Today's first card uses the Elephant Parade stamp set. I stamped one of the elephants and 7 of the butterflies onto Fluid 100 Water Colour Paper.

I coloured the images with Water Colour Papers and the ink colours listed below. I cut out the elephant image with one of the Scalloped Contour Dies and the butterflies with the coordinating die.

The Starry Sky card stock background was embossed with the Hive 3D Embossing Folder. The second layer is a piece of Sweet Sorbet DSP, both mounted on an Orchard Oasis card base.

Each of the butterflies has a Basic Rhinestone Jewel in the center that has been coloured with the coordinating Blends Marker.

The second card for today uses the Paradise Palms Bundle.
I started making this card by masking the sun with a circle mask, Daffodil Delight ink and a Blending Brush.

Once the sun was done I removed the mask and added a bit more Daffodil Delight ink around the outside of the sun. I then used Starry Sky ink and another Blending Brush to complete the remainder of the sky, making sure it was darker at the top than the bottom.

The palm tree and grass was cut from Basic Black card stock. These were attached to the card front with Dimensionals.

Inside the card I added the message in black ink and the trio of palm trees in Starry Sky ink, stamped off once.

I hope you like my Starry Sky creations, I will be back soon with more creations from my new 2022-2023 products.

Thanks for visiting,
Rachel
