Hello stamping friends, it's time for week 12 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop. This week we are featuring Blueberry Bushel, a wonderfully deep, rich blue.
The colours I used were Blueberry Bushel, Smoky Slate, Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie.
I got the large Water Painter very wet with a Blueberry Bushel mix and tapped it over the water colour paper to create the splatters.
Happy Father's Day is stamped in Blueberry Bushel and DAD is heat embossed in white embossing powder.
Next person in our blog hop is my fabulous stamping friend Andrea Sargent.
If you encounter any issues with the links in our hop please head to Cathy's blog, as she is the amazing host of our Colour Creations Blog Hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants. Please return next week when we will be featuring Boho Blue.
Great use of colour, and great card, Rach! Your watercolouring is fab, and the splatters are fun. The white-embossed sentiment on Blueberry Bushel is really striking; great choice!
ReplyDeleteThe tools look fabulous in blueberry, and I love the pops of daffodil to go with it. Awesome card for your dad.
ReplyDeleteOh I love it! what great colours to go with Blueberry Bushel as well. The tools are watercoloured so perfectly and the spatters of paint so to speak are icing on the cake! Fantastic card!
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful Fathers’ Day card Rachel. I love it. Love your choice of stamp set and the random stamping of the tools. Adore your water-colouring and splattering. xxx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful watercolouring, Rachel. Your homemade DSP pattern is wonderful and the splatters are so much fun.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous choice of stamp set to feature Blueberry Bushel and your watercolouring is just beautiful. Your splatters are also very effective.
ReplyDeleteThose colours work so well together and they are perfect for a Father's Day card. I like how you've stamped the images all over the card.
