Art With Heart Colour Creations - Seaside Spray

Tonight the Art With Heart Team are featuring Seaside Spray in our Blog Hop. This lovely grey/blue is another of the 2019-2021 In Colours.

This week I have used the Woven Heirlooms stamp set and the co ordinating Heirloom Frames Dies & 3D Embossing Folders which produce the beautiful textured frame in the middle of the card. The background paper is from the Woven Threads DSP.

Here is a closer look at the Heirloom Frames and 3D embossing folder. I love how detailed the impression is.

The finishing touches on this card are two small pieces of Seaside Spray Scalloped Linen Ribbon and some of the Seaside Spray Faceted Dots.

Art With Heart Colour Creations - Terracotta Tile

Hello fellow stampers and card makers, the Art With Heart Team is here to show you inspiring projects featuring one of the new 2019-2021 In Colours, Terracotta Tile.

For my card today I have used the Beautiful Friendship stamp set. This is a photopolymer set, which made it super easy to position the floral images on this card.

I have stamped the flowers using Terracotta Tile, Petal Pink, Crushed Curry and Merry Merlot. The leaves are stamped in Mossy Meadow.

I found the inspiration for this colour combination in my Colour Chart. I find this a very hand tool when I'm lacking for inspiration.

The floral image was cut out using the Stitched Rectangle die, love these dies, sooo handy!

 I ran a piece of Merry Merlot card stock through my die cutting machine in the Layered Leaves 3D embossing folder and used it in the background of my card. 

A strip of  Terracotta Tile Scalloped Linen Ribbon was attached to the bottom edge of the floral image, along with three Pearl Jewels.

Inside the card I added a Terracotta Tile rose and some Mossy Meadow leaves.

Art With Heart Colour Creations - Pretty Peacock

Due to popular demand the Art With Heart Team are continuing our Colour Creations Blog Hops with the new 2019-2021 In Colours. Unfortunately I missed last weeks feature colour, Rococo Rose, but I'm here this week to share my Pretty Peacock creation with you.

    For this card I have sponged the background with Pretty Peacock, Pool Party, So Saffron, and Pumpkin Pie. I stamped the man in the chair image from A Good Man in Pretty Peacock on Whisper White and coloured it with Blends Markers. 

I created a frame with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies and Pretty Peacock cardstock. 

I then ran this through my die cutting machine with the Subtle Embossing folder to add a bit more texture to the card. 

The final touch was a piece of  Pretty Peacock Scalloped Linen Ribbon across the base of the card.

Welcome New 2019-2020 Stampin' Up! Catalogue

It's finally here! along with it's smaller brother the Beginner Brochure, check them out in the side bar if you haven't seen them already.

I couldn't welcome the new catalogue properly without a card made from one of my favourite new sets called Butterfly Wishes.
