Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase week 45 - Seaside Spray

This week the Art With Heart Team are featuring Seaside Spray for our weekly Colour Creation Showcase. Seaside Spray is another of the 2019-2021 In Colours that will be discontinued when the Annual Catalogue finishes on the 3rd of May.
For tonight's card I needed a project that was quick and easy as I was a little time poor this week.
I started with the Sand and Sea DSP, which features Seaside Spray on many of it's sheets.

I turned to my favourite birthday greeting from the Happiest of Birthday stamp set and stamped this in Seaside Spray on Basic White paper.

I cut the greeting out with one of the dies from the new Scalloped Contour dies set that will be available in the 2021-2022 Catalogue. These dies come in numerous sizes and all have different stitching patterns around the edges.

The card base is Seaside Spray. The final embellishment is some Linen Thread around the bottom of the greeting piece.

Good bye Seaside Spray, hopefully you will return in a colour refresh down the track. For more Seaside Spray inspiration from the Art With Heart Team, head to Cathy's blog for a complete list of tonight's participants.

Happy stamping,
Rachel

Rococo Rose Gilded Butterflies

I made today's card a while ago as I was playing with the Gilded Leafing. I wanted to share it with you before Rococo Rose retires.

The stamp sets I used for this card are Very Versailles and Butterfly Brilliance. The Crumb Cake background piece has been stamped in Crumb Cake with Very Versailles.

I stamped the leaves in Versamark on a Merry Merlot piece and then applied Heat & Stick Powder, heated and applied the Gilded Leafing.

The butterflies were stamped in Crumb Cake and lightly coloured with a Water Colour Painter and Rococo Rose ink. I fussy cut the images instead of using the dies as I didn't want an edge around the butterflies.

The final touch is a piece of Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen Ribbon across the card.

Have you checked the Last Chance Products List yet? There's still plenty of bargains left! Head to my online store to check them out.

More Elegantly Said - Fresh Freesia

While I had the Elegantly Said Bundle out on my desk I was inspired to continue playing. For this card I used my new Fresh Freesia ink and the Scalloped Contour Dies.

I stamped the filigree stamp and the lace border in Fresh Freesia. The greeting was heat embossed in Silver and there is a piece of silver twine wrapped around the white scalloped rectangle.

I cut two pieces of silver foil with the middle size Scalloped Contour Die and attached them behind the white scalloped piece.

A few Rhinestone Jewels finish the card.

Stay tuned for more sneak peeks from the upcoming catalogue.

Happy stamping,
Rachel

Art With Heart Colour Creation Showcase week 44 - Sahara Sand

Hello stampers, today's card was made for the Art With Heart Team Colour Creation Showcase. This week we are back to alphabetical order, which means we are featuring Sahara Sand.
For today's card I dipped into my box of brand new preorder goodies from the upcoming 2021-2022 Stampin' Up! Catalogue. The bundle I have used is called Elegantly Said and it includes the Elegantly Said stamp set and the Elegant Tag Punch.

I stamped the main filigree image in the top right and the bottom left corner of the card front in Craft White Ink. I stamped a small section of the stamp onto the edge of the Elegant Tag Punch. To speed up the drying process I heated white images with my heat gun.

Once the Craft Ink was dry I stamped the greeting in Stazon Black. The bow is Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon. A few Rhinestone Jewels complete the card.

This beautiful bundle will be available from the 4th of May, once the new Stampin' Up! annual Catalogue has begun. To receive your own copy of this catalogue of for any questions about my project please contact me.

For more amazing Sahara Sand inspiration, check out what the Art With Heart Team have to share with you by heading to Cathy's Blog.

Happy stamping,
Rachel

Introducing the 2021-2023 In Colours - Fresh Freesia

The final 2021-2023 In Colour I have to share with you is Fresh Freesia. Fresh Freesia is a beautiful pinky/purple colour. It's a little like Purple Posy but a darker shade.

For this card I used Fresh Freesia for the card base and a piece of In Colour DSP for the strip across the center. The edging on either side of the DSP is cut using the largest die from the Scalloped Contour dies, I trimmed each of the long edges and used one for either side.

The greeting is stamped on the smallest Scalloped Contour die. I attached a small bow from the Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon, below the greeting. The floral image from the Colour and Contour stamp set  was stamped in Fresh Freesia and cut out.

I hope you like our 5 new In Colours, I'm looking forward to using them for the next two years.
I will be back soon with more cards to show you.

Happy stamping,
Rachel

Introducing the 2021-2023 In Colours - Evening Evergreen

The fourth new In Colour I have to share with you is Evening Evergreen.

Evening Evergreen is a deep, elegant green, that as you can see from above is significantly darker than any green currently in the range. I can't wait to pair this colour with our reds for my Christmas cards.
For today's card I have used some Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent DSP from the 2021-2023 In Colour DSP pack. They were cut using the Scalloped Contour dies. I love how well these colours complement each other.

The greeting and the little dots are from the Colour and Contour stamp set and have been stamped in Evening Evergreen ink.

I attached a piece of Open Weave Ribbon in Evening Evergreen behind the greeting.

I have one new In Colour to show you tomorrow.
If you have any questions or would like a copy of the new catalogue please contact me.
