Heart of Christmas - week 6 Wishes All Around

Hello stampers, it's time for week 6 of the Heart of Christmas blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team.

For my card this week I used the Wishes All Around Bundle. It's a great bundle with wreath dies, tree wreaths and even a snowflake wreath.

I used the tree wreath for this card. I inked first with Lemon Lime Twist ink and then coloured alternate trees with a Shaded Spruce Stampin' Write Marker.

Then I cut the image out with the co ordinating die. The greeting is from the same bundle and was stamped in Real Red ink on Basic White card stock that is cut using one of the Nested Essential Dies. The small twigs are Lemon Lime Twist and Shaded Spruce card. The berries were coloured with a Real Red Blends Marker and then highlighted with a Wink of Stella pen, to add a little sparkle.

The background card stock was embossed with one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders that are one of the Online Exclusive Products.
All of these products are available through me online store, see the links below and please ask me if you have any questions.

Now it's time for the next stop in our blog hop, Theresa Gerrard.

Colour Creations Blog Hop week 19 - Trucking Along

Hello there, welcome to week 19 of the Colour Creations Showcase with the Art With Heart Team. Every week we have been featuring one of the Stampin' Up! colours in alphabetical order. This week we are featuring my favourite and most used Neutral Colour, Crumb Cake.
I started with a piece of Crumb Cake card stock and used Coastal Cabana, Real Red and Misty Moonlight inks with one of the Foursquare Masks and Blending Brushes.

As the piece of card stock is longer than the mask I had to colour/blend the top half then preposition the mask on the lower half to continue colouring.

I stamped the three utes in Stazon Ink on Crumb Cake card stock. The first layer I added to the utes was White Craft Ink, added with a Blending Pen. Once the white was dry I added the different colour inks with a Water Colour Pen.

I punched each image out with the Trucking Along Builder Punch. These were attached to shapes cut out using the Nested Essentials Dies using Dimensionals.
The greeting is from the Artistically Inked stamp set and is heat embossed in White on Real Red Cardstock.
You can see a peek of the inside of the card where I added an off cut of the shaded cardstock to a piece of Crumb Cake card stock.
All of the products used here are available from my online store.

Now it's time to see what my amazingly talented stamping friend Christine Blain has to share with us.

If you have any problems with the links in our blog hop please head to Cathy Proctor's blog as she is the fabulous host of our blog hop and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Please come back next week when we are featuring Crushed Curry.

Heart of Christmas week 5 - Gilded Wishes All Around

Hello stampers, it's time for week 5 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop. I missed the last week as life got too busy.

The card I have to share with you this week uses the Wishes All Around Bundle and the Christmas Tidings Embossing Folder.

I started by embossing a piece of Basic White card stock with the Christmas Tidings Embossing Folder. I very gently rubbed a Versamark ink pad over the raised images. I then sprinkled Heat and Stick Powder over the Versamark followed by Gilded Leafing. Unfortunately the Gilded Leafing didn't adhere to the raised sections as well as I'd hoped.

I changed track and reached for my Multipurpose Glue. Very selectively and sparingly I added the glue to the raised images that the Versamark missed. I left the glue to go tacky, for about 10 mins. I didn't want the glue too wet so that it didn't spread from where I wanted it. I upended the cardstock into the Gilded Leafing again and this time the result was much more satisfactory. I didn't want perfect coverage, but enough for the Christmas designs to be highlighted.

I cut two of the wreaths, one from Granny Apple Green and the other from Watercolour paper. I coloured the Watercolour piece with Parakeet Party and Real Red ink. The wreaths were layered together and attached to the embossed piece with Dimensionals.

The card base is Granny Apple Green and the mat is Real Red. The greeting was heat embossed in White on Real Red cardstock.
All of these products are available in my online store from the 6th of Sept.

Now it's time to see what my lovely stamping friend Christine Blain has to share with us.
