Colour Creations Blog Hop week 37 = Orchid Oasis Details

Hello stamping friends, I have finally made it back from a relaxing Christmas break to join the Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team.
I'm very happy to come back to Orchid Oasis week. Orchid Oasis is one of the 2022-2024 In Colours that will unfortunately be leaving the range at the end of this catalogue at the end of April this year :(.
For this card I have used the Everyday Details Bundle and the Layered Florals Embossing Folder, both from the Jan to April Mini Catalogue.

I stamped the teacup image on Fluid 100 water colour paper in Versamark ink and embossed in silver embossing powder. I coloured the image with a Water Painter and ink from Orchid Oasis, Petal Pink and Granny Apple Green stamp pads.

I embossed a piece of Basic White card stock with the Layered Florals Embossing folder and then used a Blending Brush and Orchid Oasis ink to highlight the texture.
The leaves were cut using a die from the Perennial Lavender Die set.

Now it's time to see what my stamping friend and blog host Cathy Proctor has to share with us.

If you have any issues with the links in our blog hop please head to Cathy's blog as she has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Colour Creations Blog Hop week 33 - Misty Moonlight

Hello and welcome to week 33 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. Our feature colour this week is Misty Moonlight, a lovely dusty blue that returned to our range earlier this year, Yay!

For today's card I have a fancy fold that I call an Angled Z Fold card. The angel image on the front is from the So Very Merry stamp set and has been coloured with Blends Markers.

Each of the patterned DSP I have used are from different paper packs, O Holly Night, Winter Meadow and Countryside Inn.

This card still only uses half an A4 sheet of cardstock for the base, but it is slightly larger than a standard card and will need an envelope 14cm x 14cm.

The greeting is from the Christmas Classics stamp set and was stamped in Real Red Ink.
Now for the next hop in our blog hop please head to Christine Blain’s blog to see what she has to share with us.

If you encounter any problems with the links in our hop please head to Cathy Proctor's blog as she is the host of our Colour Creations Blog Hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

We are taking a break for a couple of weeks and will be back on the 3rd of Jan, although I won't be as I'll be on a cruise boat heading towards Adelaide :) .

Thanks for visiting,
Rachel

Colour Creations Blog Hop week 32 - Melon Mambo Year to Celebrate

Hello friends, welcome to week 32 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. This week our featured colour is Melon Mambo, a bright fun pink from our Brights Colour Family.

For today's card I have used the Year to Celebrate stamp set and the Merry Bold & Bright DSP from the Sept to Dec Catalogue.

I used the colours from the Merry Bold & Bright DSP, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Blueberry Bushel, and Flirty Flamingo. I stamped three party blowers on Basic White card stock and fussy cut them using my Paper Snips.

Some Melon Mambo confetti was stamped on the card front, then I randomly attached three strips of the DSP.

The greeting is also stamped in Melon Mambo and cut with a Stylish Shape circle die. The final embellishment was a few Rhinestone Jewels.

It's now time to see what my stamping friend Di Furniss has to share with us.

If you encounter any issues with the links in our hop please head to Cathy's blog as she is the amazing host of our Colour Creations Blog Hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.
Next week we are featuring Misty Moonlight, one of my favourite colours!

Colour Creations Blog Hop week 31 - Lost Lagoon Trusty Toolbox

Hello stampers, I have a sneak peek of some new products to share with you for my Colour Creations Blog Hop. The Jan to April catalogue is live for customers on the 4th of Jan, but as Demonstrators we are able to pre order early.

Today's card features the Trusty Toolbox DSP from the Sale-a-bration catalogue which also starts on the 4th of Jan. The other new item shown here is the Mini Alphabet Die Set which has three dies only that feature numerous numerals and other items such as question marks and exclamation marks! Such a versatile die set.

I cut the letters from Lost Lagoon and then white so that I could layer them for added effect. The tools around the greeting were fussy cut from the DSP.

I'm looking forward to making many more masculine cards with this DSP and the co ordinating stamp and dies, Trusty Tools Bundle. If you do not already have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and would like a copy of the catalogue please let me know. All products used here are from Stampin' Up! and will be available from the 4th of Jan.

Now it's time to see what beautiful creation my stamping friend Rachel Palmeri has to share with us.
