Heart of Christmas week 22

Welcome to the final week of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop!
This week I'm featuring a stamp set and punch that has been in our range for a couple of years so this may be it's last season. The stamp set is called Perfectly Plaid and it co ordinates with the Pine Tree Punch.

I stamped the tree in Versamark on Just Jade, Shaded Spruce and Mint Macron card stock and embossed with Silver Embossing Powder.

I punched the trees out with the Pine Tree Punch. The white scalloped rectangle was cut using one of the Scalloped Contour Dies.

The background behind the rectangle is from the In Good Taste DSP. The card base is Shaded Spruce card stock.

As this is the last Heart of Christmas Blog Hop make sure you don't miss a hop. The next stop is the very talented Ros Davidson

Heart of Christmas week 20 Merriest Moments and Heartfelt Wishes

Here is week 20 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop with the team from Art With Heart. After this week we only have two more weeks of Heart of Christmas Blog Hops to go. I hope you've started your cards already, Christmas will be here before we know it!

This week's card was inspired by a Thanksgiving card I saw on Pinterest, but unfortunately there was no watermark on the pin so I don't know who the original artist was.

I heat embossed the Merry Christmas from the Heartfelt Wishes stamp set in Gold Emboss Powder on Cherry Cobbler card stock. I trimmed the ends of the greeting were cut using the Banners Pick A Punch.

The gold foliage behind the greeting was cut and embossed using the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder, which includes coordinating dies. I used one of the sheets from the Brushed Metallic Foil pack.

The background Mossy Meadow card stock was embossed with the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder. I even managed to get the music notes the correct way up on my card. :)

The final embellishment on my card was some Gilded Gems.

Now it's time to see what the very lovely Rosa Leyden has to share with us.

Colour Creations Blog Hop week 24 Magenta Madness

Welcome to week 24 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop. Each week we have been featuring one of the Stampin' Up! colours. This week we are showcasing Magenta Madness, which is one of the 2020-2022 In Colours.

For tonight's card I have used the Delivering Cheer stamp set. This stamp set is in the July to December Mini Catalogue and has Christmas images that can also be used birthday cards.

I stamped the skirt image and the presents image in Stazon Black ink on Fluid 100 watercolour paper. These stamps are photopolymer (clear) which makes it easy to join the two images when stamping them.

I fussy cut the image with paper snips.
On a piece of Basic White card stock I stamped the background image from the Artistically Ink  stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink.

I coloured the image with a Water Painter and Magenta Madness ink. I used a very small amount of Petal Pink ink on the arms and legs.
I stamped the greeting from the Best Year stamp set in Magenta Madness and Basic Gray and then cut out the words and adhered them with Dimensionals to the card front.

Inside the card I stamped just the presents by selectively inking the presents stamp, avoiding the lower present and the arms. I used Basic Gray ink so that I could colour the image with Magenta Madness Blends Markers.
The greeting inside is also from the Best Year stamp set.

I coloured some of the Rhinestone Jewels with the Magenta Madness Blends Markers and left some clear.

The next stop in our Magenta Madness Blog Hop is the blog of the amazingly talented Rachel Palmieri

If you encounter any issues with the blog links head to Catherine Proctor's blog for a complete list of tonight's participants.
