Heart of Christmas Blog Hop Week 18 Merriest Moments

Welcome to week 18 of the heart of Christmas Blog Hop. It's November already and we will be finishing at the end of this month  so make sure you visit all of our hops to see all of the inspiration we have to share with you.

For tonight's card I have used the Merriest Moments Bundle.

I stamped a variety of foliage in Shaded Spruce and Just Jade ink. The dots in the background are Mint Macaron ink.

The poinsettia flowers were stamped in Real Red ink and then cut out using the coordinating dies. The center of the flowers are Crushed Curry ink.

The greeting was stamped in Real Red ink and punched out using the Everyday Label Punch.

Before attaching the greeting with Dimensionals I added a couple of pieces of Soft Succulent ribbon, cut in half length ways, behind the greeting.

The card base is Shaded Spruce and the mat is Real Red.

It's now time to head to Caroline Manwaring's blog to view her amazing project.

If you find any broken links in our blog hop head to Tina Gillespie's blog for a complete list of tonight's participants.

Thanks for visiting,

  1. I love how you've used this bundle, Rachel ... I'm rather guilty of neglecting the stamps, other than the sentiments, and they're gorgeous. Your use of the three greens in your stamping is really pretty, and those bold poinsettias, and the sentiment, look fabulous. Beautiful card!

  2. Another clever and different way to use the Merriest Moments bundle Rachel. Your poinsettia clusters are fabulous. I love the way you have stamped the leaves and greenery straight onto the card base but then built up the dimension and texture with the flowers.
