Colour Creations Showcase week 22 Highland Heather

Welcome to week 22 of the Colour Creations Showcase with the Art With Heart Team. Every week we are featuring one of the Stampin' Up! colours in alphabetical order.
This week it's time for Highland Heather, the purple from our Subtles family.

I used the Artistically Inked bundle and the matching Expressions in Ink DSP to make this week's card.

I stamped the smaller flower in Highland Heather three times. On a couple of the flowers I added a small amount Gorgeous Grape ink with a Sponge Dauber directly to the stamp before I stamped.

The leaves were stamped in Just Jade and Mint Macaron ink. The spots behind the flowers are also Highland Heather ink.
I heat embossed the greeting in Gold Emboss powder.

The strip of gold and white striped paper across the bottom of the card is from the Expressions in Ink DSP and the ribbon is Highland Heather Grosgrain Ribbon.

I also stamped the background stamp from the Artistically Inked stamp set in Highland Heather on the inside of the card.
Now it's time to head over to see what the very talented Tina Gillespie has to share with us.

If at any time you find a broken link, please head to the blog of this week’s host of the AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop, CatherineProctor, and she will have the list of all participants.

Thanks for visiting,
Rachel

  1. What a regal colour combination, Rachel - it looks fantastic! I especially love the way the gold striped DSP counterbalances the stamped section of the top of your card.
