New Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue Sneak Peek - Country Flowers

Hello stamping friends, I have another sneak peek to share with you from the 2024-2025 Annual catalogue. As a demonstrstor we have access to preorders from new upcoming catalogues.

When I first saw the Country Flowers Bundle, I knew it was one that I would love. The stamp set includes two different containers, three foliage and flower stamps, a stool and five greetings.

For this card I stamped the front pail and flowers first. I created a mask for the pail and then stamped the stool and the teapot  and flowers.

I stamped the stool again on a piece of woodgrain card stock from the Country Woods DSP and fussy cut it out. I trimmed the stool so that it would fit behind the front pail.

I coloured the image with my Blends Markers and cut out the image with a Deckled Rectangle Die.

Happy Easter stamping friends, be sure to pop back soon for more peeks from the new catalogue. If you live in Australia and do not already have a demo, contact me and I can send you your own catalogue as soon as it's available.

Happy stamping,

Rachel

Colour Creations Blog Hop week 46 - Smoky Slate Sneak Peek

Hello stamping friends, I’m very excited to be sharing some sneak peeks from the new catalogue with you for tonight’s blog hop. But first, if you haven’t visited our Colour Creattions Blog Hop previously, every week the Art With Heart Team have been featuring one of Stampin’ Up!s beautiful colours in alphabetical order. This week we are up to Smoky Slate, a lovely soft gray from our Neutrals Colour Family.

For tonight’s card I have used one of the new sets I purchased through a special preorder after our amazing Onstage Stampin’ Up! Event. As an added bonus we are permitted to purchase some of the new sets from the upcoming 2024~25 Annual Catalogue.
This set is called Under The Moon. This stamp set has a lovely textured finish that gives the stamped image a watercoloured effect.

For the first card I stamped the sky image in Tahitian Tide and then again in Smoky Slate. Using my Paper Snips I fussy cut  the Smoky Slate clouds from the Smoky Slate image.

I used a Sponge Dauber to gently add some Daffodil Delight ink to the sun and also to the edge of the clouds.
To stamp the water image I first inked the whole stamp in Balmy Blue and then reinked the outside edges with Blueberry Bushel and the blended the colours together with a Sponge Dauber. I added some Daffodil Delight to the center with a Dauber once it had been stamped.

I love, love love this new greeting, another sneak peek from the new Annual Catalogue. The set is called Unbounded Love and can be bundled with equally gorgeous greeting panel dies that are quite different to others we have.
For my second card I attempted to CASE (copy and share everything) a card from page 89 in the catalogue. I started by white embossing the moon stamp on Basic White card stock and colouring in the moon in Smoky Slate with a Sponge Dauber.

I cut a mask to put over the moon with my discontinued 2 1/4” circle punch so that I could shade the sky with Blending Brushes. The colours I used were Blueberry Bushel, Tahitian Tide and Balmy Blue. I splattered the sky with White Craft Ink and a Water colour brush to add the stars. The clouds across the bottom are stamped in Smoky Slate and Blueberry Bushel.

I cut the main image out with a large Perennial Postage Die and mounted it on Basic White, then Blueberry Bushel and then onto Balmy Blue.

Here are the two cards together. I hope you enjoyed your peek into the new Catalogue, all of the new products are available from the 1st of May.

Now it’s time to see what amazing Smoky Slate creation Cathy Proctor has to share with us.

If you have any problems with the links in our blog hop please head to Cathy's blog as she is also the host of our blog hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants. Be sure to hop around to all of the blogs for heaps of beautiful Smoky Slate creations.

Thanks for visiting,
Rachel

Colour Creations Blog Hop week 45 - Shaded Spruce Embossing Paste

Hi stamping friends, welcome to week 45 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop. Every week we have been featuring one of the fabulous Stampin' Up! colours and this week we are featuring Shaded Spruce. Shaded Spruce is in our Regals colour family and is a lovely deep, rich green colour.
For tonight's card I have revisited an embossing paste technique that I haven't used for a while.

I started with a Basic White card front and secured a mask from the Foursquare Mask set over the top with some washi tape.

I covered the piece with Shimmery Embossing Paste using Palette Knives and then added ink from the ink refills. I started with the lightest colour and finished with Shaded Spruce.

For the second card I used the same technique but after I'd finished with the inks I sprinkled some Gilded Leafing over the top and smooshed it into the wet embossing paste.

For all of tonight's cards I used the Wanted to Say Dies for the greeting, first in Holographic silver and then in Distressed Gold Specialty Paper.

The star embellishments were cut using the Beautiful Balloons Dies from card stock, Distressed Gold Specialty Paper or Silver Holographic Paper. The larger stars were embossed with one of the Basics 3 pack 3D Embossing Folders from the Online Exclusives.

These two cards featured Shaded Spruce but I wanted to make one with brighter girly colours.

For this card the ink colours I used were Melon Mambo, Highland Heather and Daffodil Delight. The mask for this card is from the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks.

Card stock colours are Highland Heather and Melon Mambo.

Here are the three cards together.

All of the products used here are available from my Online Stampin' Up! Store.
Now it's time to check in with Christine Blain to see what amazing project she has to share with us.

If you have any issues with the links in this blog hop please head to Cathy Proctor's blog as she is the wonderful host of our colour blog hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Thanks,
Rachel

More Magnificent Magnolia Mood Cards

Hello stamping friends. While you are reading this I will be having a wonderful time at the Stampin' Up! Onstage event where I will be catching up with my fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators. Just another of the amazing pluses to joining the Stampin' Up! family.

To make these two cards I have used the Magnolia Mood Bundle which is one of our new Online Exclusives.

For the first one I cut the main die from Water Colour paper and coloured with a Water Painter. The magnolia is Berry Burst and the leaves are Old Olive.

I stamped the magnolia image on the Basic Gray background in Basic Gray ink. The background piece was then embossed with one of the Basics 3D embossing Folders that is another of the Online Exclusives. For an extra bit of texture I splattered some White Craft Ink with a Water Painter.

I used some Parakeet Party and white twine around the middle of the card before it was attached to the Basic White card base. The second mat is Berry Burst card stock.

For the second card I cut the main magnolia die from Basic White card stock. This time I used my Blending Brushes to add colour to the die cut piece. The flower is coloured with Berry Burst and Daffodil Delight and the leaves are Old Olive.

The very sparkly Happy Birthday is cut from the Online Exclusives Berry Burst, Old Olive and White Glimmer Paper, using the Wanted To Say Dies. And as with the first card I used the Basic 3D 3 pack Embossing Folders.

The card base is Berry Burst, with a Basic Gray card front.

All of these products are available from Stampin' Up!. Please contact me with any questions.

Happy stamping,

Rachel
