Colour Creations Blog Hop week 15 - Cajun Craze Changing Leaves

Hello stamping friends, it's time for week 15 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop. This week we are featuring Cajun Craze, a deep rust colour that is part of the Regals colour family.
For tonight's card I have used the Changing Leaves Bundle. This bundle includes a stamp set, matching dies and a 3D embossing folder. I used a combination of all of these products to make tonight's card.
Cajun Craze is a colour I don't usually use a lot but I think it works well with Petal Pink and copper.

I embossed the Petal Pink background with the 3D embossing folder.

I cut out the largest leaf shape from Cajun Craze card stock and embossed it with the co ordinating folder. To highlight the texture on the leaves I used a Sponge Dauber to apply Copper Enamel Effects to the raised areas.

I coloured a piece of Sheer White and Silver ribbon with my Cajun Craze Blends Marker. The greeting is heat embossed with Copper Embossing Powder and cut with one of the Changing Leaves Dies.

All of the products used to make this card are available from my online store.

Now it's time to see what my very talented stamping friend Christine Blain has to share with us.

If you encounter any issues with the links in our hop please head to Cathy Proctor's blog for a complete list of tonight's participants.

Colour Creations Blog Hop week 5 - Summer Splash Racing By

Hello stampers, it's time for week 5 of the Colour Creation Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. Every week we have been featuring one of the beautiful Stampin' Up! colours in alphabetical order starting with the 2024-2026 In Colours. This week it's time to feature Summer Splash.

Today's card is a variation of a pull card that we saw demonstrated at the latest Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Event.
I used the Racing By stamp set for the racing car image.

The race car outline is stamped in Memento Black Ink and the solid image is Summer Splash and the star is Real Red.

There is a slit in the front of the card that allows the center tab to be pulled out, making the race car move.

The card base is Summer Splash and a center panel in Smoky Slate. The Smoky Slate piece has been embossed with the Metal Plate Embossing Folder.

I'm very pleased with how this card turned out, the little race car is so cute. I have a couple of other cards I have made with this set that I will share with you shortly.

Now it's time to see what me stamping friend Kathryn Ruddick has to share with us.

If you encounter any issues with the links in our blog hop please head to Cathy's blog as she is the wonderful host of our Colour Creations Blog Hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Thanks for visiting,
Rachel

Colour Creations Blog Hop week 45 - Shaded Spruce Embossing Paste

Hi stamping friends, welcome to week 45 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop. Every week we have been featuring one of the fabulous Stampin' Up! colours and this week we are featuring Shaded Spruce. Shaded Spruce is in our Regals colour family and is a lovely deep, rich green colour.
For tonight's card I have revisited an embossing paste technique that I haven't used for a while.

I started with a Basic White card front and secured a mask from the Foursquare Mask set over the top with some washi tape.

I covered the piece with Shimmery Embossing Paste using Palette Knives and then added ink from the ink refills. I started with the lightest colour and finished with Shaded Spruce.

For the second card I used the same technique but after I'd finished with the inks I sprinkled some Gilded Leafing over the top and smooshed it into the wet embossing paste.

For all of tonight's cards I used the Wanted to Say Dies for the greeting, first in Holographic silver and then in Distressed Gold Specialty Paper.

The star embellishments were cut using the Beautiful Balloons Dies from card stock, Distressed Gold Specialty Paper or Silver Holographic Paper. The larger stars were embossed with one of the Basics 3 pack 3D Embossing Folders from the Online Exclusives.

These two cards featured Shaded Spruce but I wanted to make one with brighter girly colours.

For this card the ink colours I used were Melon Mambo, Highland Heather and Daffodil Delight. The mask for this card is from the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks.

Card stock colours are Highland Heather and Melon Mambo.

Here are the three cards together.

All of the products used here are available from my Online Stampin' Up! Store.
Now it's time to check in with Christine Blain to see what amazing project she has to share with us.
