Heart of Christmas week 16 Christmas Tags

Here is the week 16 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop. This week I have some gift tags to share with you.

There is less than 10 weeks until Christmas so it's time to get started on Christmas gift buying, so of course you will need tags to go on your gifts, ta da!

I have used four different punches to make my tags so they were super fast to put together.

I am featuring the Tidings of Christmas 6"x6" DSP and coordinating that with Cherry Cobbler, Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent card stock. For all of the tags I started with a strip of card stock 5cm wide and 10.5cm long.
I punched one end with the Delightful Tag Topper Punch.

I made the tags in pairs which is another way I could make them a little more efficiently. I know we've been stuck at home for months with plenty of time, but I'd much rather have a bit of extra time for the gift buying than the tags.

The first of tags features the Deer Punch. It is very difficult to see in the photo but the deer was punched from one of the Sahara Sand sheets with a delicate white design. I punched one deer from the front of the sheet and one from the back so that they are heading in opposite directions. A small piece of Evening Evergreen DSP was added to the end of the card.

The second pair of tags uses the Pine Tree Dies and a Die from the Layering Circle dies.

I punched the tree first and then cut the circle so I could make sure the tree was in the center. A piece of Cherry Cobbler DSP is behind each tree.

My last pair of tags features the Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack. Now, before you tell me these punches are discontinued, I know they are.....but, they are still available in the Clearance Rack and they are reduced! Great buy and they are sooo versatile. I punched the ornaments from Brushed Metallic Paper. The cute little bows are from the Cherry Cobbler and Gold Ribbon.

I did sneak a greeting from a discontinued set, I just didn't have one the right size to fit.

I added a length of Gold Twine to the top of each tag to attach them to my gifts.

On the back of each tag I added the To: From: stamp from the Snowman Season stamp set.

All of the products I have used to make my tags are listed below.

Now it's time to see what the lovely Theresa Gerrard has to share with us.

Heart of Christmas week 14 Festive Foliage

It's time for week 14 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop. Every week the Art With Heart Team are sharing heaps of Christmas inspiration with you.
This week I have used one of the Christmas stamps from the annual catalogue. It's a background stamp called Festive Foliage.

I inked the stamp in Versamark ink and then heat embossed with Gold Emboss Powder. I used my Stamparatus to stamp the large image as it makes it much easier to reink and restamp the image if it doesn't stamp perfectly the first time.

I also stamped and heat embossed the greeting from the Inspired Thoughts stamp set in Gold Emboss Powder. Our Embossing Powders come in either a Basics Collection with Black, White and Clear and a Metallic Collection with Gold, Silver and Copper.

I cut out the greeting using one of the dies from the Pierced Blooms Dies. I love the border of dots that is part of this very versatile dies. It's a great size for so many greetings.

I coloured the leaves with the Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen Blends Markers.

A piece of Evening Evergreen Chevron Ribbon is behind the greeting. The final embellishment is a few Red Rhinestones scattered around the card.

All of the products I have used for this card are listed below with links that will take you to my online store if you are interested in purchasing.

For more Christmas inspiration it's time to visit the very talented Caroline Manwaring to what she has to share with us.

If you encounter a problem with the blog hop head to Tina Gillespie's blog for a complete list of tonight's participants.

Happy stamping,
Rachel

Heart of Christmas week 13 - Whimsical Trees

Welcome to week 13 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop. Just to let you know, there is now less than three months until Christmas. If you haven't started already now is the time to get started on your Christmas projects. Join us every Monday evening for more Christmas inspiration.

This week I have used the Christmas Tree Dies from the Whimsical Trees Bundle. Actually I only used the two small trees numerous times, with different greens in the Stampin' Up! range.

The fifth tree was cut from Be Dazzling 6" x 6" Specialty Paper which is one of the FREE Sale-a-bration rewards. For every $90 spent you can choose a FREE reward from the Sale-a-bration brochure. Sale-a-bration finishes on the 30th of September so place your orders before then to earn your FREE rewards.

I have also used a couple of strips of Be Dazzling paper either side of the embossed piece. The embossing folder I used was from the Wintry 3D Embossing pack. These embossing folders are a smaller size which are designed to fit in the small Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine.

The base behind the trees was cut using the large scalloped rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

The ribbon I used on this card is the White Glittered Organdy Ribbon. I used the Dark Shaded Spruce Blends Marker to colour the ribbon to better suit the card. The greeting from the Peaceful Deer stamp set is stamped in Shaded Spruce ink on Mint Macron card stock. The card base is Just Jade card stock.

All of the products I have used to make this card are listed below as well as links to my online store. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Don't forget Sale-a-bration finishes on the 30th of September!

For more Christmas inspiration it's now time to see what the very talented Andrea Sargent has to share with us.
