A Merry Hello

Here’s a card I made a while ago when I was having a play with the hostess stamp set in the Aug-Dec Catalogue called A Merry Hello. I also made this card which I showed you earlier.

I stamped two of the small stocking images joined together, which was pretty easy as this is a Photopolymer stamp set. I used my Blends Markers to colour the images, in Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Real Red.

The holly leaf and leaf sprig are stamped in Mossy Meadow and Old Olive respectively. The background papers use are from the Heartwarming Hugs DSP, which is one of the packs available at 15% for all of October.

The greeting is from the Itty Bitty Christmas set and is stamped in Real Red.

Thanks for visiting and happy World Cardmaking Day tomorrow!

Happy stamping,

Rachel

Heart of Christmas - Week 15

Week 15 already! Only a few weeks left to go, I can't believe it's December next week!

The card I have to share with you this week uses the Itty Bitty Christmas Bundle and the Shine Bright stamp set.

I have stamped the Christmas tree in Versamark on Very Vanilla card stock and heat embossed with Gold embossing powder. This panel was the cut out using the Stitched Nested Label dies.

The gold background shapes are Gold Foil cut with one of the Layered Christmas dies. These were adhered with the Tombo glue.
The greeting is from the Itty Bitty Christmas set and was heat embossed in gold on Mint Macron card stock.

On the Cherry Cobbler background I used a combination of Golden Glitz Delicata ink refill and rubbing alcohol in a Stampin' Spritzer to produce the sparkly golden sheen.
The rhinestone on top of the tree was coloured with a Soft Suede Blends Marker.
The Cherry Cobbler background was mounted on Mint Macron card stock and then on to a Thick Very Vanilla card base. I love this card stock for a more sturdy Vanilla base.

Heart of Christmas - Week 2

For week 2 of  the Heart of Christmas Countdown I have used the Christmas Gleaming bundle along with the Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP.

The baubles were cut from the Brightly Gleaming DSP. I added a topper to each bauble by punching just the top of each bauble from Copper Foil paper. The strings for the baubles are actually very fine strips of Copper Foil paper that I cut using my paper cutter.

The Merry Christmas greeting was embossed with Copper Emboss powder.
The Old Olive sprig above the bauble is from the Itty Bitty Christmas Bundle. The dies included are this sprig, snowflakes and stars. I love the abundance of Christmas greetings in the stamp set. There is a greeting that suits any Christmas card.

The card base is Thick Very Vanilla card stock, which is more suitable as a card base than the standard Very Vanilla card stock.

Come back on Thursday night when the Art With Heart Team feature Christmas as their monthly Blog Hop theme.

Thanks for visiting.
