Art With Heart Colour Creations - Powder Pink

This week's featured colour is Powder Pink, which unfortunately is one of the 2017-2019 In Colours that will be retiring at the and of May, when the current Annual Catalogue retires.
This colour screams 'Baby Girl Card!' to me, so I had a play with my Sweet Baby bundle.
I used two of the Stitched Rectangle Dies to create a frame in Powder Pink to attach my baby to.
The baby has been coloured with Blends Markers and attached to the frame with Linen Thread so that it actually swings. All of my three babies loved being in their baby swing like this. Soooo long ago now.
The background DSP is from the Wooden Textures pack which perfectly sets off the Powder Pink and the Crumb Cake mat. The BABY has been cut from Powder Pink using the Well Said dies.
Here's a close up of the baby in all her cuteness. It also shows the beautiful stitching on the Rectangle Stitched dies.

Thank you for stopping by to see my creation.

Art With Heart Colour Creations - Pineapple Punch

This week's Colour Creation colour is Pineapple Punch, and wow does it pack a punch! I'm still finding it a challenge to use this bright, vibrant yellow, but I managed to make a card to share with you today.
I used the Sale-a-bration stamp set So Hoppy Together and the coordinating dies Hop Around Framelit dies, which are available to purchase from Friday the 1st of March, but only for one month. Contact me for more information.

The card base for this card is Pineapple Punch. I have heat embossed the dragonfly image from So Hoppy Together and the reeds from the Fabulous Flamingo stamp set in Pineapple Punch embossing powder. If you missed this embossing powder in the catalogue it comes in a set with the other 2018-2020 In-colours.
I have die cut three Stitched Rectangles(love these dies!!) in Lemon Lime Twist, Call Me Clover and Whisper White. The reeds were stamped in Call Me Clover and Lemon Lime Twist.  The frog and crown were stamped in Memento Black and coloured with Stampin' Blends markers.  They were then die cut using the Hop Around Framelit dies, as was the lily pad under the frog. The greeting was stamped in Call Me Clover. For more Pineapple Punch inspiration head to Cathy's blog for a full list of today's participants. Thank you for hopping by, Happy stampin, Rachel

Art With Heart Colour Creations - Petal Pink

Tonight the Art With Heart team are featuring Petal Pink in their Colour Creations Blog Hop.
I have a couple of cards to share with you using this beautiful soft peachy pink.
The first one uses the Flowering Desert set from the Occasions Catalogue. I loved this set as soon as I saw it, something a bit different. The DSP in the background is a vellum sheet from the Floral Romance Specialty DSP. I have used the Rectangular Stitched Framelit dies to cut the main image and also a Mossy Meadow frame around it. The tiny butterflies are from the Butterfly Beauty Thinlit dies.

For the next card I used the sweet bunny from Fable Friends, also in the Occasions Catalogue, which I stamped on Watercolour paper and coloured with an Aquapainter. The beautiful DSP in the background is from the Painted Seasons DSP which is on of the 2nd Release Sale-a-bration rewards. The Petal Pink background has be embossed using the Tuffted Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder. The shape for the greeting is from the Stitched Labels Thinlits and the greeting is also from the Fabled Friends set.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my Petal Pink samples. For more inspiration head to Cathy’s blog for a full list of this week’s participants.
