colour Creations Blog Hop week 43 - Rich Razzleberry Pretty Prints

Hi stamping friends, welcome to week 43 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. Each week we have been featuring one of the Stampin' Up! colours in alphabetical order. This week we are featuring Rich Razzleberry, a lovely, dark purple/red colour.

I dug into my comprehensive Designer Series Paper(DSP) supplies and made these two very quick and simple but effective cards. The DSP packs I used were Pretty Prints and Sun Prints.

I used one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut all of the DSP pieces. These pieces were mounted on Basic White card stock and Rich Razzleberry card base.

The white leaf sprig was cut with a dies from the Forever Flourishing Dies. The greeting is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and was embossed in White Emboss Powder on Rich Razzleberry card stock.

Now it's time to see what my fellow team member and talented stamper Theresa Gerrard has to share with us.

If you have any problems with the links in our blog hop please head to Cathy Proctor's blog as she is the host of our blog hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Thanks for visiting,

Product List

  1. Such an effective way to use up DSP, Rachel! Your white leaf sprig and heat embossed greeting are the perfect finishing touches.

  2. Your cards are so beautiful, Rachel! I love the crisp white foliage against the lush DSP.

  3. Love the simplicity of your DSP cards Rachel. The white leaves and embossed sentiment are delightful against the depth of DSPs. x

  4. We all do tend to have comprehensive stashs of DSP I agree. You have chosen a great way to utilize some of it with both of these lovely cards Rachel. The White sprig breaks them up perfectly. Theresa

  5. I just love the stitched detail on your die-cut pieces, Rach; a simple way to really elevate a card. Both cards are lovely. I especially like the pops of colour on the tri-coloured card, and the white card mats help show off the gorgeous rich papers.

  6. What great cards, Rachel. The stitched rectangles are perfectly placed on your matt white layer; it makes them really pop. The white embossed sentiment is perfect with the white leaves too. I think we can all relate to the comprehensive stash of DSP!

  7. A great idea to quickly make some cards Rachel, and they look really good with the sprig of foliage tucked behind the sentiment.

  8. PS that was the other Rachel
