Hello stamping friends, welcome to week 7 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. Every week we are featuring one of the beautiful Stampin' Up! colours.
This week we are up to the second new colour to join the Stampin' Up! colour range, Bubble Bath, a lovely soft, baby pink colour.
I have two cards to share with you tonight. For the first card I have used the Zany Zoo bundle. This cute set is really versatile and can be used for many different themed cards. Tonight I have a baby card to share with you.
I stamped the ballerina leopard image in Memento Black ink and coloured with my Blends Markers. The colours I used are listed below.
For the second card I used the Dots and Spots Die and the Wanted to Say Dies. I cased this idea from a card I saw by Penny Hammond who is a fellow demonstrator and who always has inspirational ideas to share.
The background of the card was embossed with one of the Online Exclusive 3pk of Embossing Folders.
I cut a circle from Smoky Slate card stock and then die cut the circle with the Dots and Spots Die. I used strips of Fresh Freesia, Orchid Opulence and Berry Burst to weave through the holes.
The Happy Birthday was cut from Soft Shimmer Specialty paper in Berry Burst. The Berry Burst balloon was cut from the same Soft Shimmer Specialty Paper, but the other two balloons were cut from plain card stock in Orchid Opulence and Fresh Freesia. These balloons were then coloured with a Wink of Stella Pen to give a similar shimmery finish.
All of the products used to make these cards are available in my Stampin' Up! online store. If you have any questions please contact me as I am always happy to chat about Stampin' Up! and card making.
Now it's time to see what my wonderfully clever team member and the host of our blog hop Cathy Proctor has to share with us.
If you have any problems with the links in our hop please head to Cathy's blog as she has a complete list of tonight's participants.
Please visit next week when we will be featuring Lemon Lolly.
