Heart of Christmas Blog Hop week 11- Radiant Light

 



Hello stampers, welcome to week 11 of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. Every week until the end of Nov we will be sharing our Christmas projects with you.

This week I have used the Radiant Light stamp set to create two cards.

For the first card I embossed the candle image in Gold Embossing Powder. The image was watercoloured using a Water Painter and the inks.


The image was cut using a Deckled Rectangle Die.The Adhesive Backed Glimmer Paper mat was also cut with a Deckled Rectangle Die.


For the second card the candle image was also embossed in Gold Embossing Powder and coloured with a Water Painter and SU inks. 

The background paper is from the Shining Brightly Specialty DSP Pack.

    I think the backgrounds are the stars of both your beautiful cards, Rach! I love the tone-on-tone stamping just in the bottom portion of your first card front, and love the busy, elegant, patterned paper on your second card. I also love your use of Deckled Rectangles Dies, and glimmer and sparkle!

    All the gold heat embossing is beautiful with the gold foil on the DSPs. Those Decklede Rectangles are brilliant frames for your lovely candles. Both great cards, Rachel.

    Lovely cards, Rachel. The second one with the gold foil paper is my fave. It is so pretty with the gold embossing and soft colours.

    Oh Rachel, those decked rectangles are just the perfect size for cutting out the candles.I love the gold embossing and the different ways your coloured each card.
