Hi there, welcome to week 47 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. Every week we have been featuring one of the beautiful Stampin' Up! colours in alphabetical order. We have nearly finished this round as the new catalogue starts on the first of May. This week we are featuring Soft Sea Foan, a lovely pale mint green from our Subtles Colour Family.
For today's card I have used the Stippled Roses Stamp set. I stamped the main image in Basic Gray and coloured with Blends Markers in Soft Sea Foam, Highland Heather, Fresh Freesia and Old Olive.
The background card front is from the Hello, Irresistible DSP, which is available exclusively in our Online store.
The white leaf sprigs behind the main image were cut with the Meadow Dies. The scallop along the edge of the card is from the Zany Zoo Dies.
This is a really delicate coloured card but the colours have faded a bit in the photos. I was very happy to see that the Stipple Roses Bundle is continuing in the next catalogue, I'm sure it will get regularly used. All of these products are available through my online store. Please contact me with any questions. If you do not already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and would like a copy of our new catalogue please drop me a note.
Now it's time to see what my very talented stamping friend Andrea Sargent has to share with us.
If you have any issues with the links in our hop please head to Cathy Proctor's blog as she is the fabulous host of our Colour Creations Blog Hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.
Be sure to check in next week when we will be featuring Starry Sky, one of the soon to be retired In Colours.
Happy stamping,
This card is very pretty Rachel. The roses remind me of one I received for my 40th birthday called Blue Moon. It is still flowering at the moment. I swore you had made the background piece too, so that was a surprise to find out it was DSP.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Rachel, the Highland Heather roses are gorgeous with the Soft Sea Foam background and white elements, beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSo soft and feminine, Rachel! I love this colour combination, the pops of white and your gorgeous colouring. You've certainly made this bundle very tempting.
ReplyDeleteYour roses are coloured so beautifully. I love the addition of the scalloped border along the edge of your card.
ReplyDeleteGosh, this is beautiful, Rach! I really love your choice of DSP for the backdrop to your gorgeous flowers. Beautiful colouring, and great use of dies.
ReplyDeleteSo much gorgeousness Rachel. Love your colour combo as well as your Blends colouring - beautiful. The way you have brought together elements from different products is perfect. xxx
