Colour Creations Blog Hop Week 1 - Peach Pie Daisies

 Happy New Catalogue Day!

Today's the day that the 2024-2025 Stampin' Up! Catalogue goes live to customers.

A new catalogue year means a beautiful new graphic for our blog hops too. Isn't our Cathy amazing! She's the host of our blog hops and provides our new graphics.

The first colour we are featuring is one of our new In Colours, Peach Pie. We are covering all of the new In Colours first before moving on to the remainder of the Stampin' Up! colours.

This month Stampin' Up! have an amazing joining offer. Join the Stampin' Up! team in May and you will receive the following In Colour Kit in addition to the usual joining kit. Contact me for more details.
I've combined a new colour with an existing stamp set and bundle, Cheerful Daisies.

I cut the Daisy Die from Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper and coloured with ink and Water Painters. The ink colours are Peach Pie, Pecan Pie, Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock.

The background of the card is Basic White embossed with the new Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder. I coloured the center of the embossed piece with a Blending Brush and Lost Lagoon ink.

The Birthday Wishes greeting is from another new product, Simply Said stamp set. I cut the greeting using the Unbounded Love Dies. I coloured the center section of the greeting die with more Lost Lagoon ink and a Blending Brush.

If you don't already have a copy of our beautiful new catalogue and don't have a demonstrator, please contact me and I will get one to you.

Now it's time to see what my very clever stamping friend Kathryn Ruddick has to share with us. Make sure you visit all of the stops on our blog hop for lots of Peach Pie inspiration.

If you encounter any issues with the links in our blog hop please head to Cathy's blog as she has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Happy stamping,
Rachel

  1. This is so lovely, Rach! I love the look of Pecan Pie with Peach Pie. The daisies are delightful, and I love your colour choices for the foliage. We've had the same idea with the sentiment oval ... I have blended colour on the middle part, for my card for the next blog hop. :)

  3. These are certainly a lovely bunch of cheerful daisies you have put together Rachel. The two blue/green colours offset Peach Pie nicely! I love how you coloured the centre of the oval label.

Such a lovely card Rachel. Peach Pie does look great with Pecan Pie doesn't it? Great choice using the daisies to feature Peach Pie too. I've been tempted by that sentiment stamp set and you've helped convince me.

  5. Peach Pie is the perfect colour for these daisies Rachel. I had forgotten about this bundle but I will certainly be digging it out again. I love how you have used the new embossing folder and greeting with an encore bundle. Really brings it to the fore again.

  7. Beautiful card, Rachel. Using these daisies is fantastic for Peach Pie and all the other colours you've chosen. The Eyelet 3D folder is such a beauty and I can see it will be used heavily this year by us all. I love the Simply Said stamp set, so many perfect sentiments for cardmakers!
