Colour Creations Blog Hop week 3 - Pretty In Pink Beauty

Hello stampers. I'm back this week as part of the Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. Every week we will be featuring one of the Stampin' Up! colours, starting with the new 2024-2026 In Colours.

This week we are featuring Pretty In Pink. If you thought you recognised the name you would be correct. Pretty In Pink is a previously retired colour that is returning as an In Colour.

For today's card I have used the new Layered Beauty Bundle which includes a stamp set, die set and a set of masks.

The 5 masks are really easy to use as they are numbered and each have a matching notch in one corner to make lining up the images as easy as possible.

The colours I used are Pretty In Pink and Melon Mambo for the roses, Azure Afternoon and Daffodil Delight for the daisies and Old Olive for the leaves.

I used a strip of Pretty In Pink In Colour DSP behind the main image.
All of the products used to make this card are available through my online store.

Now it's time to see what my very talented stamping friend Theresa Gerrard has to share with us.

If you have any problems with the links in our blog hop please head to Cathy's blog as she is the wonderful host of our blog hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Be sure to come back next week when the next colour we will be featuring is Shy Shamrock.

Thanks for visiting,

  1. Rachel, your stunning card has such a sweet vintage vibe. I love it so much! This striped DSP is fast becoming a favourite pattern of mine and i love the way you've used it on your card.

  2. Oh, I am in love with that striped background with the roses, Rach - perfection! Pretty in Pink is a gorgeous colour to use with this beautiful bundle. I really like the sentiment stamped in Melon Mambo on Pretty in Pink card; lovely choice.

Oh Rachel your card is beautiful. The touch of Azure Afternoon looks fabulous as does the striped background.

  4. Gorgeous colours your have chosen for this card.

  5. Beautiful card, Rachel. So darn pretty and love the DSP choice behind toe image, gorgeous!

  6. I love your choice of colours for the rose bouquet Rachel. The little blue flowers really make it pop. The strip of striped DSP was a fabulous addition.

  7. The colouring on your flowers is beautiful, love the colour choices. Something seemed familiar about it, I think the stripes remind me of vintage times.
