Colour Creations Blog Hop week 4 - Shy Shamrock Sweet Peas

Hello stamping friends, thank you for visiting for week 4 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop. Every week we have been featuring one of the amazing Stampin' Up! colours, starting with the new In Colours. This week we are featuring Shy Shamrock, a pretty, bright green.

For tonight's card I have used a new stamp set called Sweet Peas. I stamped the party pea pod and the single party pea in Memento Black ink on Basic White card stock.

I coloured the images with blends Markers in Shy Shamrock, Shaded Spruce, and tiny bits of Poppy Parade and Azure Afternoon. I coloured the Black and Vanilla Checked Ribbon with a Shy Shamrock Marker.

The card base is Shaded Spruce. The Shy Shamrock card from has been embossed with one of the Online Exclusive Basics 3D Embossing Folders.
All of these products are available from my online store.

Now it's time to see what my lovely and talented stamping friend Di Furniss has to share with us.

If you have any issues with the links in our blog hop please head to Cathy's blog as she is the wonderful host of our blog hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Please come back next week when our projects will be featuring Summer Splash, our final new In Colour.

Thanks for visiting,
Rachel

  1. Rachel, This is the perfect stamp set for this colour. I love your mainly monochrome card and the way you've coloured the Black and Vanilla Checked Ribbon with a Shy Shamrock Marker.

Such a cute punny card, and a perfect choice of greens to use. I like the strip of DSP laid ‘oh-so-casually’ on the embossed background.
