Back with week 9 of Colour Creations with the Art With Heart Team. It's also my 3rd countdown to the end of July, only 2 days to go.
Tonight we are featuring Cherry Cobbler, a beautiful rich red that is perfect for Christmas projects.
Tonight I am using Cherry Cobbler with a returning favourite from last year, the Beautiful Baubles bundle. This great bundle is available again on the 4th of August and..
...is in the upcoming Aug- Dec Mini Catalogue.
If you don't have a copy of this catalogue yet, contact me and I will send one out.
For this card I stamped the large bauble in Versamark, then Gold Embossing Powder on Cherry Cobbler card stock.
The small bauble was stamped a bit differently. I inked the stamp in Versamark then stamped directly in the Cherry Cobbler stamp pad and onto the Gold Foil papaer. This was then heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. It looks like I have embossed in Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powder. I needed to do this on the Gold Foil as the Gold Foil has a coating on it that does not allow the ink to soak into the paper and dry, so the water based inks just rub off.
The Holly stamp was Gold heat embossed twice on Very Vanilla card stock and coloured with the ink pads and Water Painters.
The Mint Macaroon was embossed with the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder and the background of the card is a piece of DSP from the In Good Taste Speciality DSP pack with a very blond wood effect.
I used a couple of pieces of gold twine to hang the baubles from, also coming soon in the new mini.

Thanks for visiting,
Happy stamping,
Rachel
