Art With Heart Monthly Showcase - October Using Designer Series Paper

Welcome to this month's Art With Heart Creative Showcase. This month, in honour of the Designer Series Paper Sale, we are showcasing projects featuring our beautiful range of Designer Series Paper. The links for all of tonight's participants are listed at the end of this post.

For my project tonight I am using the Heartwarming Hugs DSP which can be found in the Aug-Dec Mini Catalogue.

This card used very few products and was perfect for one of the projects we made in today's online card class I ran. All of the products used to make this card are listed below.

I used various Stitched Triangle Dies to cut six triangles from the Heartwarming Hugs DSP. The trunk of the tree is a small piece a wood textured paper from the In Good Taste DSP.

I applied a Dimensional in each of the lower corners of each triangle and glue or a Glue Dot to the top corner. The triangles were layered from the bottom up in random alignment.

The greeting is from the Tree Angle Photopolymer set and was heat set in White Emboss Powder. I fussy cut around each word and attached to the card with Dimensionals.

The final element is a double bow from Linen Tread attached to the tip of the tree with a Glue Dot.

Next month the Art With Heart Team will be featuring cards using 5 or less supplies. You will see some amazing creations that do not require a huge range of stamping supplies, great for new stampers.
