Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase week 38 - Pumpkin Pie

Pumpkin Pie is this week's featured colour in the AWHT Colour Creations Showcase. Pumpkin Pie is not a colour that I use regularly but it is a lovely clear orange colour.

I have combined Pumpkin Pie with some of the other orange shades in our range to make my bunch of flowers.
The flowers and leaves are cut using the Pierced Blooms Dies.

I stamped the stems and some of the background leaves in Granny Apple Green ink on a Basic White Stitched Rectangle.

I had fun making this card, the hardest part was deciding which colour to make each flower. The greeting is stamped in Pumpkin Pie ink on a strip of Basic White card stock.

The final embellishment on my card was a double bow made from Linen Thread.

For more Pumpkin Pie inspiration head to Cathy's blog for a full list of tonight's participants.

Thanks for visiting,
Rachel

  2. A gorgeous happy card Rachel. I love your floral arrangement with the Pierced Blooms - a great way to use PP. Must admit, the hardest part for me would have been arranging the flowers (its not a gift of mine). Great layering. xxx
