Heart of Christmas week 3

Hi there, week three of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop, and I have had a lovely time playing with my pre order from the August to December Mini Catalogue.

Every Monday evening we will be bringing you Christmas inspiration from the Art With Heart Team. There is a link to the next hop at the end of this post and if you get lost or find a broken link, there is a complete list of tonight's participants on Sharon's blog, also at the end of this post.

For tonight's card I have used the Merriest Moments Bundle. I loved this set as soon as I saw it. The stamp set and die also come with a coordinating embossing folder.

For this card I cut the detailed die from Basic White card stock and then put it in the embossing folder to add the texture. There is another die in this set which can be placed inside the folder so that you can cut and emboss at the same time. Very cool! I will share a card using this technique tomorrow.

Once the die has been embossed I used Sponge Daubers and Mossy Meadow, Mint Macaron, Pear Pizzazz and Shaded Spruce ink to colour the foliage.
The greeting panel dies is included in the die set. It was cut from Basic White card stock and the greeting was stamped in Cherry Cobbler. I sponged around the outside of the greeting panel with Early Espresso ink on a Sponge Dauber.

The card front is a piece of wood grain DSP from the In Good Taste DSP pack. The poinsettia was stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink and the leaves in Mossy Meadow. The final elements are a bow in the new Cherry Cobbler Gold Ribbon and some Metallic Gold Pearls.

The next hop in our blog hop is the very talented Andrea Sargent.

In case of a broken link head to Sharon's blog for a complete list of tonight's participants.

Thanks for visiting, I'll be back later with my Forth Day of Lockdown post.
