Colour Creations Blog Hop week 11 - Cajun Craze Rustic Harvest

Hello Stampers, welcome to week 11 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. The eleventh colour alphabetically in the Stampin' Up! colour range is Cajun Craze. Cajun Craze is a deep, rich, rust colour that is in our Regals colour family. I do love this colour but it's not one that I use very often.

For this week's card I am featuring Cajun Craze with the Rustic Harvest DSP from the July  to Dec Mini Catalogue.
I dug out my Watercolour Pencils and used Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Granny Apple Green and Garden Green.

I randomly coloured the leaves with the pencils, then I used a Water Painter to blend the colours.

I mounted the DSP piece with a piece of Cajun Craze 6x6 DSP onto a Cajun Craze card base.

The greeting is from the Go To Greetings stamp set and has been heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. This greeting set has four different greetings in three different sizes and scripts. It's so versatile! The ribbon under the greeting is a piece of Gold & Vanilla Satin Edged Ribbon that has been coloured with a Granny Apple Green Blends Marker.

The final embellishments I added were a few Basic Rhinestone Jewels that have been coloured with a Soft Suede Blends Marker.

All of the Stampin' Up! products used to make this card are listed below and are available from my online store.

Now it's time to hop over to the next blog in our hop which belongs to the very talented Diane Furniss.

If you encounter any issues with the links in blog hop please head over to Cathy Proctor's blog as she is the host of this hop and will have a complete list of tonight's participants.
