Heart of Christmas - October

Hello stampers, less than 10 weeks until Christmas and the Art With Heart Team are back with our October Christmas blog hop. A full list of tonight's participants is on Judy's blog, the link is at the end of this post.

Tonight my project uses the Have A Hoot bundle.

I used the window die to cut windows in a piece of In Good Taste Specialty DSP.

I stamped all the images in Memento Ink on Whisper White Card Stock and coloured them with the Blends Markers listed below. All of the dies to cut them out are included in the bundle. I decided to cut off one of the little owls so that the card reflects our family, except that my youngest owl is now my biggest owl!

The two greetings are stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with white emboss powder. The small leaf sprig was cut from Shaded Spruce card stock and embellished with a couple of Red Rhinestone Jewels.

I cut a mat from Just Jade card stock and stamped the background images in Memento Ink. I sponged a small amount of Crumb Cake ink on the background to blend in the holes in the DSP.

The owl images were attached to the card front with Dimensionals. So cute, I'm very pleased with how this card turned out. All of the supplies I have used to make this card are listed below and can be purchased from my online store.

I love seeing what the other clever girls in the Art with Heart team have produced for our blog hops. I feel very lucky to have found myself part of this lovely, friendly team. It certainly adds an extra dimension to my love of stamping and Stampin' Up! If you are interested in joining Stampin' Up! any of the wonderful ladies in this team can help answer your questions.

Thank for visiting,
Happy stamping,
Rachel.
