Hello stampers, I back with another week of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase. Our feature colour this week is Magenta Madness. This is one of the 2020-2021 In Colours. It's a lovely bright pink that has a slight blue tone.
This week I have used the Flowers For Every Season DSP. This paper features all of the 2020-2021 In Colours through all of the designs.
I started by stamping the flowers from Jars Of Flowers stamp set on Whisper White card stock and colouring with Blends Markers.
I stamped the jar in Stazon Black on a piece of window sheet and then fussy cut it out. You could also use the Jar Punch but I wanted the image to have no white outline. The water in the jar was coloured with a Pool Party Blends Marker. The edge of the card was cut with one of the Curvy Dies which are now available in the Quite Curvy Bundle, as a pre release from the 2021 Annual Catalogue. Contact me for more details.
The ribbon used here is the Just Jade In Colour ribbon.

Thank you for visiting,
Happy stamping,
Rachel.

Rachel this one of the best cards I've seen using this DSP and I love how you've picked up the colours in the DSP with your colouring and how you've used the Curvy dies too. Thank you for sharing your beautiful Magenta Madness cards with us tonight!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Rachel. I love the pop of yellow with the magenta and the curvy die adds lovely detail.
ReplyDeleteA truly lovely card Rachel. I love the way that you used the curved die and your flowers are so beautifully coloured.
ReplyDeleteGreat card Rachel. I really hesitate to use either of the Magenta Madness card stock or that DSP because they are so eye-popping. I think what you have done here with the Curvy Die and jar of flowers is a touch of genius because it is just enough of a feature to draw your attention away from the eye-popping colours while complimenting them beautifully. Well done!
