Colour Creations Blog Hop - week 20 Daffodil Delight Meets Festive & Fun

After a couple of weeks away I'm back to participate in the Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. Every week the team has been featuring one of the Stampin' Up! colours in alphabetical order. This week we are featuring Daffodil Delight, a beautiful, vibrant yellow from the Brights Colour Family.

I have been getting right into my Christmas cards already so I thought I would try to incorporate Daffodil Delight into one. The set I have used for this card is Festive & Fun from the Sept to Dec Mini Catalogue.

I stamped the giraffe image in Memento Black Ink so that I could colour with my Blends Markers. The colours I used are listed below.

The Nested Essential Dies were used to cut out the image as it fitted the tall giraffe image perfectly. The greeting which is also in the stamp set was cut out using one of the smallest Tailored Tags Dies from Granny Apple Green card stock.

For the background I used a piece of Daffodil Delight DSP from the Brights 6"x6" pack. It worked well to use the spots and stripes together as they are on opposite sides of the same piece of paper. The card base is Real Red card stock.
All of these products are available through my online store.

It's time to visit the next stop in our blog hop which is the delightful and super talented Christine Blain.

If you encounter any problems with the links in our hop please head to Cathy Proctor's blog as she is the wonderful host of our Colour Creations Blog Hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Be sure to visit next Monday night when we will be back with another round of Christmas Creations Blog Hop, and next Wednesday when we will be featuring Early Espresso.
Thanks for visiting tonight,
Rachel
