Pansy Patch 1

Hi stamping friends, I'm sharing with you today some of the samples I used in my Facebook Live presentation I did yesterday. I'm going to spread the samples over three days so that you do not get overloaded.
Today's projects all use the Pansy Patch stamp set and the coordinating Pansy Dies, as pictured above.
These beauties are available from the 4th of May, which is when the new Stampin' Up! 2021-2022 catalogue goes live.

If you do not yet have a copy of this amazing catalogue and you live in Australia, drop me a line and I will send you one.

I must admit I went a little overboard when I was playing with these stamps and ended up with over 20 different flowers. It was too easy and too fun to come up with different colour combinations.
I have three cards to share with you today. I seem to be doing a lot in threes at the moment, although a really have 4 ideas to share with you. You will know what I mean if you managed to sit through the whole Facebook Live. :)

The colours I used on the first card are Daffodil Delight and Polished Pink, which is one of the 2021-2023 In colours. The lighter pink colour is the Polished Pink ink stamped off once. I works well when you do not have a paler shade that coordinates. All of the leaves on these cards use Soft Succulent as the base colour and Evening Evergreen as the highlight colour.

The scalloped square behind the greeting has been cut from one of the Pansy Petal DSP using one of the new Scalloped Contour Dies. I love these dies, with numerous different scalloped rectangles they are going to be endlessly useful.

The pink paper is a piece of Polished Pink In Colour DSP.

The second card uses more sheets from the Pansy Petals DSP. The flowers are stamped in So Saffron and Pale Papaya. I didn't put a greeting on this card as I didn't think it needed it and I like having some blank cards for any occasion.

The final card for today uses purples. The light shade is Fresh Freesia, another of the 2021-2023 In Colours and the darker shade is Gorgeous Grape. The yellows are Daffodil Delight and So Saffron and the centers are Mango Melody.

One of the Scalloped Contour dies has been used for the greeting and the background is the Brick Embossing Folder. The final touch is some Gorgeous Grape ribbon.

Thanks for visiting, I will return shortly with another post from the Pansy Patch collection.

Happy stamping,

Rachel

Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase week 46 - Shaded Spruce

It's week 46 of the Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase and this week our projects are featuring Shaded Spruce, a lovely rich green in our Regals collection. We are almost at the end of our showcase, but we have decided to extend it for another 5 weeks to include the 5 new 2021-2023 In Colours.

I wanted to use one of the soon to be discontinued stamp set and die combinations for this week's card. I chose the Geared Up Garage stamp set and the coordinating Garage Gears dies.

I started with a Night of Navy card base. The Shaded Spruce background has been stamped in Shaded Spruce ink with the smudge or watermark stamp.

The main gear piece has been cut from Gold Foil paper and the smaller dies have been cut from Just Jade card stock.

I cut the gears from the gold mat before I attached it to the back of the Shaded Spruce piece. I try to be as economical as possible with my supplies so that I can afford to buy lots more! :)

The greeting is stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.

Another masculine card to add to my stash, very happy with this one. If you're quick the dies are still available in our Last Chance Products sale.

For more Shaded Spruce inspiration from the AWHT head to Cathy's blog for a complete list of tonight's participants.

Next we are featuring Smoky Slate in our Showcase.

If you haven't received a copy of the new 2021-2022 Catalogue and would like one, and if you live in Australia, drop me a line and I will get one to you.

Until next time,
Happy stamping,
Rachel

Pansy Patch Bundle Three Ways.

Hello Stampers, I have some exciting new products to show you today. This is the Pansy Patch Bundle. It includes the Pansy Patch stamp set and the Pansy Dies. They will be available from the 4th of May, when the 2021-2022 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue goes live.

Also available in this suite is the Pansy Petals DSP, which you can see a couple of strips of on the card below. More about this later.

For this card I have only used the dies pictured above. Although there are quite a few pieces in this set they were very easy to use. I am going to do a Facebook Live video on Thursday afternoon (the 29th of April) to show you how the dies work. I will also be showing you 2 other ways to use the Pansy Patch Bundle to make beautiful pansy cards. I would love you to join me. My Facebook page is Handstampedbyrachel.

I will attempt to record this presentation and save it to my page, but I'm not promising success as this will be my first Facebook Live video. I hope you can join me and I'm happy to answer any questions you may have as I go along.

I will be posting the numerous other cards I have made using this set over the next week or so, I have lots to show you!

Happy stamping,
Rachel.

Art With Heart Colour Creations Showcase week 45 - Seaside Spray

This week the Art With Heart Team are featuring Seaside Spray for our weekly Colour Creation Showcase. Seaside Spray is another of the 2019-2021 In Colours that will be discontinued when the Annual Catalogue finishes on the 3rd of May.
For tonight's card I needed a project that was quick and easy as I was a little time poor this week.
I started with the Sand and Sea DSP, which features Seaside Spray on many of it's sheets.

I turned to my favourite birthday greeting from the Happiest of Birthday stamp set and stamped this in Seaside Spray on Basic White paper.

I cut the greeting out with one of the dies from the new Scalloped Contour dies set that will be available in the 2021-2022 Catalogue. These dies come in numerous sizes and all have different stitching patterns around the edges.

The card base is Seaside Spray. The final embellishment is some Linen Thread around the bottom of the greeting piece.

Good bye Seaside Spray, hopefully you will return in a colour refresh down the track. For more Seaside Spray inspiration from the Art With Heart Team, head to Cathy's blog for a complete list of tonight's participants.

Happy stamping,
Rachel

Rococo Rose Gilded Butterflies

I made today's card a while ago as I was playing with the Gilded Leafing. I wanted to share it with you before Rococo Rose retires.

The stamp sets I used for this card are Very Versailles and Butterfly Brilliance. The Crumb Cake background piece has been stamped in Crumb Cake with Very Versailles.

I stamped the leaves in Versamark on a Merry Merlot piece and then applied Heat & Stick Powder, heated and applied the Gilded Leafing.

The butterflies were stamped in Crumb Cake and lightly coloured with a Water Colour Painter and Rococo Rose ink. I fussy cut the images instead of using the dies as I didn't want an edge around the butterflies.

The final touch is a piece of Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen Ribbon across the card.

Have you checked the Last Chance Products List yet? There's still plenty of bargains left! Head to my online store to check them out.

Rachel
