Welcome to week 4 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. Every week we are featuring one of the Stampin' Up! colours starting with the new 2022-2024 In Colours. This week's colour is Sweet Sorbet. Sweet Sorbet is red that fits between Real Red and Poppy Parade.
For tonight's card I have inked up another of my new stamp sets from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalogue called Amazing Year.

I stamped the main image in Memento Ink so that I could colour using the Blends Markers. The colours I used were Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party and Flirty Flamingo. This image was cut out using a circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies. These wonderful dies are so versatile, I was very happy to see that they had returned to our range.

I stamped the tag on a separate piece of card stock and coloured it with Flirty Flamingo Blends Markers. This was attached to the main image with Dimensionals.
I used a piece of Sweet Sorbet DSP from the 2022-2024 In Colour Pack on the base of the card front.

The scalloped strips across the center of the card are Flirty Flamingo and Parakeet Party, that have been cut using the die from the Scalloped Contours Dies.

On the inside of the card I stamped Birthday Wishes in Memento ink and then the present image in Sweet Sorbet stamped off once.

Such a pretty card, Rach. I nearly used this stamp set - it looks beautiful coloured with the new In Colors. You've used a lovely layout, and I really like how you created the little tag.

ReplyDeleteYour card is so lovely Rachel. I love this image and you have coloured it nicely with the addition of the cute tags. Love how you have stamped inside your card by stamping off the present image and stamping the sentiment over it.

ReplyDeleteThis stamp set is on my 'will I or won't I?' list. You've definitely tempted me to shift it to my 'busy have' list. It looks great coloured with Sweet Sorbet, and I especially love the detail in the popped up tag.

ReplyDeleteWell, I hadn't even noticed this stamp set in the AC. Rachel, your colouring is outstanding and the layout is fantastic. Love the inside with the stamped off image behind the sentiment!
ReplyDeleteRachel this is not a stamp set that I would ever stop to look at it but your card made me dig out my catalogue to look it up. The font and sentiments are fabulous and your card showcases the stamp set and In Color perfectly.
