For today's cards I used the Sale-a-bration Host Rewards set called Scenic Garden. Free with any workshop order over $500.
The images were stamped in Memento Black ink and coloured with Blends Markers.
To decorate the white background on the first card I coloured a flower stamp from Hand Penned Petals with a Wink of Stella Brush and inked randomly around the outside.
I also coloured the base of the cake with the Wink of Stella Brush.
The chair in this image was coloured with Crumb Cake Blends Markers. I did cheat a tiny bit and I used Sweet Sorbet twine from the 2022-2024 In Colour Twine pack to tie around the base of the image panel. Shhh, the colour is so similar no one will know ;)
The flowers are coloured with Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie and Highland Heather Blends Markers.
I used a Scalloped Contour Dies to cut the cake image and a Deckled Rectangle to cut the image with the chair.
All of the products used to make these cards are from Stampin' Up! and are available through my online store.
Now it's time to head for the next stop on our blog hop to see what the very talented Caroline Manwaring has to share with us.
If you have any issues with the links on our blog hop, please head to Cathy Proctor's blog as she is the wonderful host and has a complete list of tonight's participants.
Make sure to come back next week when we feature Pumpkin Pie.
Only two weeks left of Sale-a-bration, get your orders in or miss out.
Happy stamping,
Rachel

ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful colouring, Rachel. You've created two relaxing scenes and combining Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie and Highland Heather has worked a treat for the flower beds.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Rachel.
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful cards Rachel. Love your blends colouring. How did I not realise the stamp was a cake decorated with flowers - I will look at it differently from now. xxx
ReplyDeleteRachel, the Wink of Stella stamped background on card one is so effective! It adds such a soft and subtle look. Beautiful cards with beautifully coloured images. Great choice of the Deckled Rectangle die for the chair card - it looks terrific!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty way to feature Poppy Parade Rachel. You have created a couple of very serene looking cards. Theresa
ReplyDeleteBoth beautiful cards, Rachel. I'd be more than happy to sit on that chair and enjoy the array of flowers in the garden. Such happy cards.
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely cards Rachel. I especially love your pot of pretty coloured flowers.
ReplyDeletePoppy Parade can be such a strong colour, but you have used it so beautifully, in a way that it's not overpowering, Rach. Your designs are coloured beautifully. I never would have thought to paint directly onto a stamp with Wink of Stella - what a clever idea!
