Colour Creations Blog Hop week 5 Wild Wheat Gone Fishing

It's week 5 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. This week we are featuring the final 2023-2025 In Colour, Wild Wheat. Wild Wheat is a yellow ochre colour that is my least favourite of the new In Colours.

For tonight's card I relied on the lovely Let's Go Fishing DSP.

I chose the sheet with the multi coloured fish on one side and the gingham pattern on the reverse side. I cut one end with one of the Basic Borders Dies. And then a piece of Mossy Meadow card stock with the same die.

The card front was completed with a strip of the gingham DSP.
The greeting is from the Inked & Tiled stamp set and has been heat embossed in white on Pebbled Path card stock.

I dismantled a small piece of In Colour Jute Twine and attached it behind the greeting. I fussy cut one of the flies from another of the DSP and attached it to the front of the greeting panel. The greeting panel was cut with a Nested Essentials Die.
All of the products that were used to make this card are available through my online store, the links are below. Please contact me with any questions, I'm always happy to chat about stamping ang Stampin' Up!

Now it's time to hop over to see what my lovely team member Rosa Leyden has to share with us.

If you encounter any issues with the links in tonight's hop please go to Cathy Proctor's blog as she is the amazing host of our Colour Creations Blog Hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

The next four colours we are featuring are the colours that are new to the Stampin' Up! Colour range, in alphabetical order, starting with Azure Afternoon. See you next week.
Thanks for stopping by,
Happy stamping,
Rachel

Eclectic Earthen Texture

I decided to try the Earthen Textures Dies with bright, bold colour instead of the earthy tones in the Earthen Elegance DSP.
I used the papers from the Delightfully Eclectic DSP pack as the card front and the vase.

The palm fronds are cut from Granny Apple Green and the diamond on the front is from the Nested Essentials Dies and cut from Azure Afternoon card stock.

I'm very pleased with how this card turned out, I will have to try using some of the other papers from the Delightfully Eclectic DSP pack.
Thanks for visiting,
Rachel

Colour Creations Blog Hop week 4 Pebbled Path Sweet and Precious

Hi stampers, it's time for week 4 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. Every week we have been featuring one of the fabulous Stampin' Up! colours in alphabetical order. This week we are up to Pebbled Path which is the fourth of the 2023-2025 In Colours. I have been using Pebbled Path as my new favourite base colour so it took some thinking to work out how to feature this lovely colour on my card.

I have been using Pebbled Path as my new favourite base colour so it took some thinking to work out how to feature this lovely colour on my card.
I chose my new Sweet and Precious stamp set and in particular the sloth image.

I coloured the sloths with Pebbled Path and Gray Granite Blends Markers. The tree is coloured with a combination of Pecan Pie, Crumb Cake, Old Olive and Granny Apple Green Blends.

The main image is cut with a Deckled Rectangle Die. To add a bit of texture to the card I cut another Deckled Rectangle from Pebbled Path In Colour Luster Speciality Paper. This paper has a wonderful sparkly finish.

The background paper and the strip across the front is from the 2023-2025 In Colour 6"x6" DSP pack.
All of the products used to make this card are available through my online store, the links are below.

Now it's time to see what my super talented friend Sharon Davern has to share with us.

If you have any issues with the links in our hop please head to Cathy Proctor's blog as she is the amazing host of our blog hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants.

Come back next week when we will be featuring Wild Wheat, which is the last of the 2023-2025 In Colours.
Thanks for visiting,
Rachel

Sunday Stargazing

I have two super quick cards to share with you today. I haven't purchased the Reach for the Stars Bundle (yet) but I do have some of the Stargazing DSP that co ordinates with this bundle.

I used both of the planet sheets to make these cards.

The greetings are cut using the Wanted to Say and some of the fabulous Speciality Papers in this year's catalogue.

The first card uses the In Colour Textured Speciality Paper for the top layer and the purplish background is one of the Holographic Trio Specialty Papers.

I also cut some of the stars from the Wanted to Say Dies from another of the Holographic Papers.

The second card used one of the Holographic Papers for the top layer and the Berry Burst sheet from the Soft Shimmer Specialty Papers.

I added a piece of  Sweet Sorbet Metallic Woven Ribbon behind the greeting that I frayed at each end.

I hope my super easy cards have brightened your Sunday afternoon.

All products used to make these cards are listed below, please contact me with any questions.

Happy stamping,

Rachel
